Light of my Life :)

Darkness is all I can see
If there’s light, I can’t see it clearly
I’m too downcast to look up
My heart was bleeding, I cannot even laugh
Then a still small voice caught my attention
He said he wants me to see His love and affection
He who walks on water as if it’s land
He took me by the hand, that nail-pierced hand
I told him to leave me, a poor hopeless lady
I said, “I can no longer stand my master”
He said, “You can’t stand alone my daughter, but we can together”

With love in His eyes,
I saw the hope-filled future that lies
I fell at his feet and repent
Saying sorry for a life that is not well-spent
He wiped my tears and made me stand
Telling me how he missed His daughter
And embraced me so tender


He who forgives when others condemn,
He who disciplines when others give up,
He who understands when others judge,
He who remains true when others betray
He who gives strength when others make you feel weak
He who sees the best out of me when others see only my mistakes
He who is faithful even in my unfaithfulness
He who restored my soul and reward me with fruitfulness

And He, who know me from the inside out
But still love me the same
The greatest lover of my soul, my closest friend,
The reason of my existence.
